Who is the Promised One?

"The Promised One"  is  the study  based on  the books  of  Isaiah, Zechariah and Psalms. It  lets you  find  your own answer  to the following; Who is the One the scriptures are promising? We will find out that He  is  a descendant of Abraham, born of a virgin,  called 'precious cornerstone' Isaiah 28;16,
"He will be given the  name; Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting father, Prince of Peace" Isaiah 9;6,
 " The One judging and seeking justice and hastening righteousness" Isaiah 16;5,
He will be  "the light to the Gentiles  and bringing  salvation to the ends of the earth " Isaiah 42;6   &   Isaiah 49';6,
 '"The One opening the eyes of the blind" Isaiah 42;7, the One whose voice we should obey- Isaiah 50;10,
and based on Isaiah 53;11  "The One  who had to suffer for our sin to justify many"
 verse.3. "despised, rejected by men, the man of pains,we did not value him",
  v.5 "wounded for our transgressions, crushed because of our sins, the punishment  that brought us peace was upon him and by his wound we are healed
The verse .6 explains ;  " We all like sheep went astray, we turned each one to his own way, yet Adonai laid on him the guilt of all of us."
 v.7. " led as a lamb to the slaughter"
 v.8. "for transgressions of my people  he was stricken",
 v.11. " My righteous Servant shall justify many , for he shall bear their iniquities",
 In verse 12 it is said; " Therefore I will assign him a share with the great, he will divide the spoil with the strong for  having exposed himself to death and being counted among the sinners,
while actually bearing the sin  of many  and interceding  for the offenders."
 Zechariah 12;8-10   "The One  coming with the clouds!  Every eye will see Him, including those who pierced Him"

The question is simple like the first  verse in the book of  Isaiah " Who believes our report, to whom is the arm of Adonai revealed?"
This study below  shows also details  about  the person of Yeshua ( Jesus) and describes the facts that took place 2000 years ago. It's goal is not to convince you of anything but it lets  you find the answer for yourself.
Has it ever been any person that would fit so greatly with every detail to the given promise in the scriptures, the man so righteous, whose name is known all over the earth, the man who was killed and rose again after 3 days?
Based on Old Testament prophecy we know that the Messiah had to suffer first. Starting with the Genesis 3;15 "(...) he will bruise your head and you will bruise his heel."
Have you read ( in Luke 24;15-35) about  disappointed disciples who lost their hope seeing their Yeshua crucified? And then on the way to Emmaus, they shared their disappointment with the man that came up to them  ( They didn't know it was their resurrected Yoshua who came up to them )
They said  "We were hoping that it was He who was going to redeem Israel, (...) today it is the third day since these things( his crucifiction ) happened." And  he  said to them;
" Foolish people! So unwilling to put your trust in everything the prophets spoke! Didn't  the Messiah  have to die like this before entering his glory?" And then he explained them all the things that could be found in the Scriptures written about him.

 In The New Testament in  Matthew 1;20-23  we read

Yeshua (Jesus)  was born of a virgin;  an angel said  to Mary ” that she will bring forth a Son and that His name will be Jesus and that He will save His people from sins” v.22 ” So all this was done  that it might be fulfilled  which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet , saying; ” Behold the virgin shall be with child, and bear a  Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel, which is translated  ‘God with us”.

 descendant  of Abraham;
Matthew 1 starts with words;  ” The book of genealogy of Jesus Christ , the Son of David, the Son of Abraham.”
The promise that was made to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, founders of the Jewish family, a promise later renewed to Kind David, that one of their descendants would reign over the nations forever
 ( see Gen 28;14, 2 Sam7;16) Yeshua fit the prophet’s description in every detail and was hailed  by thousands  of  Jews as Messiah. ( John 19;38-39, Acts 6;7)

 "stricken for transgressions of  My people"  " shall bear their iniquities"   "wounded for our transgressions"
Jesus knew  that he would be killed  in Jerusalem and that he would rise again on the third day;
Luke 18;31-33
Jesus took the Twelve  aside  and told them, “ We are  going  up to Jerusalem and everything  that is written  by  the prophets  about  the  Son of  Man  will be  fulfilled.  He will  be  handed  over  to the Gentiles . They will mock him, insult him, spit on him, flog him  and kill him. On he third day he will rise again.”

" The one who comes in the name of the Lord"     ( Matthew 21;5  John 12;15 )
“The next day the great crowd that had come for the feast heard  that Jesus was on his way to Jerusalem. They took palm branches and went out  to meet  him, shouting,  Hosanna! Blessed  is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Blessed is the King of Israel! Jesus found  a young donkey and sat upon it, as it is written  in Zechariah 9;9;

“ Rejoice  greatly, o Daughter of   Zion, Shout  Daughter of Jerusalem!
See your  king  comes  to you  righteous  and having  salvation, gentle  and riding  on a donkey,
On a colt,  the foal  of a donkey.”

"My righteous Servant shall justify many "   " Presented himself as a guilt offering"  " mocked  and insulted"      prophecied   in   Isaiah 53;10 and Pslam 22
New Testament  book of Hebrew 10; 14 “(…) by one  sacrifice he has made perfect for ever those  who are being made  holy.”

Hebrew 9;26 “(… he has appeared once for all at the end  of the ages  to do away with sin by the sacrifice  of himself.”

Psalm 22; 7    tells us details about what Jesus was facing on the cross and all these things happened exactly how they were described;
“All who see me mock  me, they hurl  insults, shaking their  heads.  He trusts in the Lord let the Lord  rescue him, let him deliver  him since he delights in him.”
The same words we find in  the New Testament in Matthew  27;39,    (Mark 15; 29   Luke 23;35)
" And those who passed by blasphemed him, wagging their heads; and saying; ' You who destroy the temple  and build it in 3 days, save yourself! If you are the Son of God, come down from the cross."

The one Crucified, the one whose garments were divided, and lots were cast for;  prophesied in Psalm 22
Psalm 22; 16-18     “(..) they have pierced my hands and my feet. I can count all  my bones.  People stare and gloat over me.
They divide  my garments  among them  and cast lots for my  clothing.”
" Then they crucified him and divided his garments, casting lots "  (written in  Mark 15; 24   Luke 23;34  John 19; 24 )

Psalm 69;21
“ They put gall in my food and gave me vinegar for my thirst.”
Matthew 27;48  "One of them ran and took  a sponge, filled it with sour wine and put it on a reed , and offered it to him to drink."

The one whose bones won't be broken
Psalm 34;20,  Numbers 9;12 ,  Exodus 12;46,
“  He protects  all his bones, not one of them will be broken".
New Testament,  John  19; 33-36 )” But when they came  to Jesus and found that he was already dead, they did not break his leg”

The one betrayed for 30 silver coins ,   Zechariah 11; 12-13

“  If you think   it best, give me my pay, but if not keep it. So they paid me thirty pieces of silver. And the Lord said to me ; throw it to the potter – the handsome price  at which  they priced me.”

( fulfilled in  Matthew 27; 3-9) ” When Judas, who  had betrayed him, saw that Jesus was condemned, he was seized with remorse and returned the thirty silver coins to the chief priests and the elders.”

v.6  ” The chief priests picked  up the coins and said; ” it is against the law  to put  this  into the treasury , since it is bloody money.”

v.9 ” Then what was spoken  by Jeremiah the prophet was fulfilled; They took the thirty silver coins, the price  set on him by  the people of Israel.”

 He is  the One defending  those who are  living in Jerusalem and  the One who was pierced;   Zechariah 12;8-10
"When that day comes, I will seek to destroy  all nations attacking  Yerushalayim  and I will pour out on the house of David  and on those living in Yerushalayim a spirit  of grace and prayer and they will look to me, whom they pierced. They will mourn for Him as one mourns for  an only son, they will be in bitterness on His behalf"
Revelation1;7  "Look He is coming with the clouds!  Every eye will see Him, including those who pierced Him,"
John 19;34 "One of the soldiers stabbed his side with a spear, and at one blood and water  flowed out."

 " He will see his offspring "   Isaiah 53;10     The one who rose again    " He will divide the spoil with the mighty" v.12
Matthew 28;6  The angel said  ” I  know that you are looking for Jesus, who  was crucified . He is not here , he has  risen, just as he said. Come and see the place  where he lay”
Mark 16;14 " Later Yeshua appeared to the Eleven  as they were eating , and he reproached them for their lack of  trust  and their spiritual insensitivity  in not having believed those who had seen  him after he had risen."
John 20;24 " Now Thomas , one of the Twelve , was not with them  when Yeshua came. When the other disciples told him; 'We have seen the Lord'  he replied ;'Unless I see the nail marks in his hands, put my finger into the place  where the nails were and put my hand into his side, I refuse to believe it! A week later  Yeshua's disciples were in the room and this time Thomas was with them. Although the doors were locked , Yeshua came, stood among them and said " Shalom aleikhem" Then he said to Thomas; 'Put your finger here, look at my hands, take your hand and put it into my side . Don't be lacking in trust but have trust!'Thomas answered him;' My Lord and my God."
Matthew 28;18  " Yeshua said; " All authority  in heaven and on earth has been given to me."

The One  taken up to heaven and the One coming with the clouds   Daniel 7;13
Acts 1;9  " ( ..) he was taken up before their eyes (  his disciples' ) and a cloud hid him from their sight" ,  v.11." (...) why are you standing staring into space? This Yeshua, who has been taken  away from you  into heaven, will come back to you in just the same way  as you saw him go into heaven."
Matthew 24.30 " Then the sign of the Son of man  will appear in the sky, all the tribes  of the land will mourn and they will see the Son of Man  coming in the clouds of heaven  with tremendous power  and glory."
 Revelation 1;7  " Look He is coming with the clouds!  Every eye will see Him, including those who pierced Him, and all tribes  of the Land will mourn Him."

The One holding the key of David   (Revelation 3;7)
the One called the bread of life, ( John 6;36)
light of the world (John 8;12)
living water ( John 4;14)
Passover Lamb ( John 1;29)
The One who could perform so many miracles, raise the  dead  ones to life, calm down the storm, make the blind to see, paralyzed ones  to walk, cast out demons,  - why  didn't  He choose to save himself? Why did he offer himself on the  Festival of Unleavened Bread? ( Passover)

Jesus said " For this is my blood, which ratifies the New Covenant, my blood shed on behalf  of many, so that they may have their sins forgiven."

" For God so loved the world , that He gave his only begotten Son, so that whoever believes in Him, shall not perish but have everlasting life." John 3;16
As we read in Romans 8;1 “Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are  in Christ Jesus.”
Jesus said;”I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes Him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned , but he has crossed over from death to life.” John 5;24
